Even though there are no true  -0- calorie foods, there are many that burn more calories in the process of digesting them than they started out with!

This results  in a negative loss of calories.

Example: A tomato contains approximately 26 calories but it will take you 60 calories to digest- this means a 34 calorie loss each time you dine on it.

Don’t forget to add some tomatoes to your next sandwich!

Although this seems like an easy way to lose weight,  it wouldn’t be smart nutritionally to think that you are tricking your body into losing weight by subtracting calories.

Although negative calorie foods can HELP with weight loss, they are not the whole answer.

We still need protein, grains and other important nutrients for good health.

And what good is any diet program with out exercise?  You can lose the pounds by eating right, but you lose the flab with exercise!
